Michael Tutko is a Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Marketer.

Michael graduated from The New York City College of Technology with a degree in Communication Design with a focus in Brand Design. He went onto supplement his marketing and advertising knowledge though COOP careers as a Digital Marketing Apprentice as well as joining Verizon’s AdFellow program. Utilizing both of these programs to help broaden his marketing acumen and make himself a more complete 360 designer & marketer.

After working as a Lead Designer in environmental design for over 3 years, he then went on to continue the evolution of this marketing skill-set through the Verizon’s AdFellow program. Working within a rotation of roles including, Art Direction, Creative Strategy, and Graphic Design. By leveraging his knowledge of digital marketing and social media through the COOP program he is currently working at IPG MediaBrands as a Sr. Associate for clients such as; CVS, Boeing, and most recently Amgen.

In his spare time, he continues to grow his skill set working on small freelance & personal projects focusing on illustration, branding, and video editing. He also can be seen volunteering 1-2 times a month at the American Museum of Natural History where he speaks to visitors about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals on the 4th floor. As well as spending time at his alma mater (CUNY City Tech) volunteering with portfolio reviews for the design department or as a coach for the 4A’s MAIP program.
